If you’ve forgotten what it feels like to be a child, look no further than Universal Studios Singapore for a reminder. The 50-acre theme park is a celebration of film, fantasy and fun, bringing together the magic of the studio’s century-long run and transforming it into a collection of rides, shows and attractions meant to excite and bewilder.

A ride you do not want to miss is Battlestar Galactica: Human vs.Cylon, the tallest duelling roller coasters in the world, each one providing its own unique brand of thrills and chills. The wildly popular Transformers: The Ride is also a must on the checklist, offering a 3D experience that breaks the barrier between screens and pulls its viewers in to become part of the movie at hand.

The water theme takes on a different form at the HydroDash floating water park by the beach, the first of its kind here in Singapore. Here, you get to hop and hover around their inflatable playground and bounce your way through their floating obstacle course.

Worried that it might be a little too dangerous for your taste? Well, worry not! HydroDash is safe for people as young as five years old, with one section of the park designated specifically for younger children and another section safe for visitors seven years and up. Pregnant women, however, are strictly prohibited and if you are injured or suffering from any medical condition that might hamper physical activity, caution is necessary.

Thrillseekers should head over to Skyline Luge Sentosa for fun-filled adventures on their various luge tracks, designed with tunnels, hairpin turns and downhill slopes to create an exhilarating ride for all visitors.

Another family-friendly attraction promising fun for all ages is the Mega Adventure Park, whose name is indicative of the experience it provides. The park is chock-full of mega adventure, with four main activities for you to choose from.

Their widely renowned MegaZip attracts adrenaline junkies the world over with its 450-metre zipline that takes you across a scenic route through a jungle, a beach and the sea at speeds of up to 60 kilometres per hour. The MegaBounce features an advanced trampoline system with bungee cords that allows you to safely jump up to 8 metres into the air—emphasis on ‘safely’.

Scale new heights at the MegaClimb where you have more than 30 obstacle courses spread across three levels up to 15 metres high. Last but not least is the electrifying MegaJump, a parachute jump simulation where visitors are given the opportunity to experience the thrill of a fearless free fall through the use of a powerfan descender.
